Many years ago I used to have Vonda Shepard’s “Searchin’ My Soul” on a loop – it always made me feel peppier. Lately, if I I feel less than excited, I listen to Duffy’s “Distant Dreamer” as an inspiring boost.
Among other wonderful lyrics, it also states:
“I’m thinking about,
all the things,
I’d like to do in my life…
I’m a dreamer,
A distant dreamer,
dreaming for hope from today.”
