As we get closer to several holidays, it’s important that we think about how to reduce the amount of waste produced during the holiday season.

Halloween is fast approaching. The holiday is tremendous fun for children (and some childlike adults … OK, me). But it can involve an unnecessary amount of garbage.

Shirley Siluk Gregory on Suite101 offers some “ideas for environmentally friendly trick-or-treating and Halloween fun”. And Larry West on has plenty of “Green Halloween Tips: Tricks to Make Your Halloween a Treat for Mother Nature”.
