African Wildlife Foundation

Founded in 1961, the African Wildlife Foundation (AWF) works to protect both the wild lands and wildlife of Africa and ensure a more sustainable future for Africa's people. We conduct our work in large landscapes in the African Heartlands with a focus on four activities: 1) land and habitat protection, 2) species conservation and research, 3) wildlife-compatible conservation enterprises, and 4) capacity building and conservation leadership development.

AWF is a non-profit organization headquartered in Kenya with offices in South Africa, Tanzania, Uganda, Washington, DC and Zambia and a registered 501(c)(3) in the United States.

Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontieres (MSF) is an independent international medical humanitarian organization that delivers emergency aid to people affected by armed conflict, epidemics, natural or man-made disasters, or exclusion from health care in more than 70 countries.

MSF was founded in 1971 as a nongovernmental organization to both provide emergency medical assistance and bear witness publicly to the plight of the people it assists. A private nonprofit association, MSF is an international network with sections in 19 countries.
