Years ago my Father and I hiked the southern sections of the Appalachian Trail. It was always our vision to finish the northern sections of the trail together. Life of course always got in the way of our plans. We spent a lot of time together on trails but we never made it back to the AT before he died from pancreatic cancer. It's my dream to finish the trail. These days with two kids and a wife it seems just as harder to pull off than ever. I've made all the arrangements I need now I just need the funds. I need to replace some equipment. Mostly the money will be used to pay for food and travel money. I want to finish the hike on his birthday next year(Sep 6th). Please help me finish what my father and I started. I feel like even though he can't be there physically if I can finish the hike then he finishes the Hike in my heart. I know he'll be with me for every mile.
