My Name is Dairon Acosta. I am originally from the Dominican Republic but I currently reside in the Northern Virginia U.S.A. I am currently in my second year of studies at North Virginia Community college. I don't know what I want to major in, I was leaning towards International business focusing on the Health field.
It is kind of crazy to even hope that anyone will help me begin my dream, but here it goes. I come from a small town in the Dominican Republic named samana, A small quasi fishing village sticken with obvious and hidden issues. One of the issues that bother me the most is hunger. Many people go hungry mainly due to poverty, some grow their own food and can get by depending on the season.
My solution to this is fishing. I want to buy a boat where I can hire some of these poor folks to fish. I will pay them with a percentage of the catch and the boats percentage I will donate to the local churches to give out to these people. There are more details to this, but this is the basic thesis. I don't know if this is going to work, but it doesn't hurt to dream.
