Every year the kids talk excitedly about returning to Disney World. They pour over mommy's scrapbook pages and exchange excited stories, aided by the photos and trinkets. I am not sure Abby remembers it all - but what I remember is the wonder and excitement that did not cease. Our last family trip dates back to 2005 - when we made our journey to Disney World in Orlando Floria. Abby was just 3 years old, and Parker barely 6.

We have collected our Airmiles since the day we got back, and by next spring (2010) we will have enough for the 4 of us to travel to back to Florida. Our family dream is to share the wonder and excitement of childhood together for what is likely the last time ... before the social and emotional ride of youth distract from the wondrous curiosity and imagination they now display.

More than we, nor the planet, need any more short-term treasures to fill our home - we hope for the memories and experience of sharing the time together in this place that has come to symbolize all that is possible in the world.
