My husband and I are both teachers with a large amount of student loan debt. We keep having to defer payment to our student loans in order to pay our everyday expenses and other debt. We also send our 2 year old daughter to daycare, which takes up a large chunk of our pay each month. We are desperate to pay down some of our debt in order to start paying off our student loans. If we were free of our car payments, credit car payments, and personal loan payment, we could use the money saved to finally pay off our student loans and be close to debt free. We have been out of grad school for 6 years and haven't even begun to put a dent in our student loan debt. We are not people who like to beg or accept charity but are desperate for help and want to save money for our daughter to go to college so she does not end up in this same situation.
