Hi Mike: A friend and I are going to Tanzania at the end of November for a month to work in a village orphanage. Where are you sending the bikes to? Great that you are doing this.

The ravages of the HIV/AIDS epidemic in Africa are well-known: over 35,000,000 cases, with millions of deaths annually, all preventable.
Bikes Without Borders seeks to extend the reach and increase the impact of HIV/AIDS home care workers in Africa by providing them with bicycles. Because most of these workers walk from village to village - dispensing antiretroviral drugs, offering education and information, and other vital support - providing them with a bike allows them to reach many more people.
