Geri and I have chosen to post our "adoption dream" on dreambank for a number of reasons. On December 29, 2008, we were introduced to the children that we are now in the final stages of adopting. We expect to become a family over the next few months. We are of course elated and are overwhelmed by the support and generosity of our friends and family. People want to help and contribute, which is beautiful and humbling. Dreambank is the perfect fit. It is truly the gift that gives, consistent with the entire philosophy of adoption. Both are based on a mutual need and mutual gain. This is very new to us and we are just gearing up to prepare our home. Our dream is therefore for real essentials like a twin stroller so we can all be active and enjoy the seawall and endowment lands, highchairs for healthful eating and a crib each for sweet dreams.
